This article is a fascinating study of extinct animals that inhabited our planet. Read all about these animals in the not too distant Tiger Caspian Sea, which became extinct around the 1970s, the sea cow, which disappeared in the Bering Sea. What we must understand is that all through time, the man in search of progress has been the cause of the extinction of different species of animals, flora and fauna.
The twentieth century has probably seen more species due to degradation of the natural habitat of animals and plants, overuse, the human-induced climate change and human infections transmitted diseases. The 21 is doing everything possible to overcome the damage caused in the previous century.
Some of the rarest extinct animals can be classified as follows:
The Caspian tiger was in Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Mongolia and neighboring countries and is also known as the Persian tiger. It was the third largest of the species with a stocky body, strong legs, paws and claws unusually large range, with a tender growth resembles a beard around the cheeks. In the color of the Caspian tiger was similar to that of the Bengal tiger. Various reports claim the tiger became extinct around 1950 to 1970, have been reported sightings that have not been tested. This species has been systematically eradicated with Russia plays an important role in extinction because of their recovery plans major land. The intensive deforestation and hunting drove the Caspian tiger more and more away from their habitat to reach the mountains and extinction.
Most of us have probably never heard of the Irish elk, or giant deer, one of the largest species of deer to inhabit the earth. Carbon dating of their places of extinction around 7-8 thousand years ago. The species is characterized by its distinctive antlers that were really big in size. Recent research indicates that large amounts of calcium and phosphate required to form the antlers, which brought the animals from their bones, leading to a condition similar to osteoporosis in the animal. Probably the human presence and a decrease in their natural habitat led to its demise.
Extinct animals include non-threatening, passive sea cow found in the Bering Sea was discovered by Georg Steller and is commonly known as the Sea Steller Cow. This massive animal weighing three tons and was much bigger than a dugong or manatee, and looked like a big seal. He lived only in water landfall and was never fully domesticated. The most likely explanation for their disappearance is probably human presence.
