Making balloon animals and other forms has existed for many decades. The art is called “spin the globe” and is fairly self-explanatory. The artist twists balloons into wonderful and very different ways, many animals. The balloons used are often made of latex and the most popular is the 260 – so named because it is inflated to 2 inches by 60 inches and is a good size for many forms.
Most balloon twisters start learning to make a balloon forms and the need to spend many hours practicing the various techniques such as tying the balloon with one hand, with balloons and balloons in celebration of the turns while others turn to money after all. Once competence has been gained with the manufacture of a variety of forms of a balloon animal or, more skill can be acquired by learning to make shapes with two or more balloons. The types of shapes is limited only by the imagination of the Twister and the amount of time you have available to practice in both torsion and the ‘tapping’ or storytelling among the tornado and its public. The best of this jargon is the best of the demonstration, public participation and enjoyment of all.
Early in his balloon twisters balloon inflated by mouth but this is rarely done now. It requires a good set of lungs to inflate balloons in a period of 4 or 5 hours. Also in today’s society, many people are reluctant to take something that has been in the mouth of another. Most of the balloon twisters now use some type of bomb that can be a hand pump, electric, battery or a tank of compressed air. Helium is not suitable for the rotation of the balloons used are too porous and the designs are too heavy. Apart from that, especially children want to keep their animals balloon or closely and do not want the risk of losing it. Children of all ages and adults who love animals and balloon shapes or torsion.
